Day 4: July 26, 20238:00: Eight session:

• Integration of the results of the 5 stages Assembly
• Approval of statements/documents

Presentation of the results of the Parish pre-pastoral assembly and the commonalities and differences among parishes belonging to the two provinces within the Vicariate.
The delegates review the challenges of the current situation to the Church and examine the Church’s capacity to face and manage them.

Phase 2: Looking around and within us (Socio-cultural analysis)

This phase helps the delegates analyze the deeper roots of the faces. The process leads them to own up to the problems at hand.

Phase 3: Discernment in the Light of Faith

The delegates look at the situation but this time, in the light of the Gospel and the Church teachings. They probe and brainstorm on what to do vis-s-vis:
the Vision-mission of the Vicariate Pastoral Priorities and thrust;
culture factor and Gospel values;
program: immediate and long term;
structure of participation and decision-making; and
the leadership and management of the Church.

Phase 4: Offering our Gifts

This phase looks at personal and organizational capacities, capabilities, the limitations and needs in the implementation of the Vision-mission and the pastoral programs of the Vicariate.
What are our undying strengths and weaknesses to manage the delivery of services?
The BEC as vehicle of communion, mission, and participation – how to harness them?

Phase 5: Opening New Pathways

Presentation of the concrete resolutions that the Assembly deliberates and adopts.
Focus on new pathways that the Vicariate must undertake.
